At the Riverdale Hive students are greeted as if they are a guest in my home. I want you to feel the therapeutic qualities of clay.
Whether its a Date Night Experience, Private Party or group classes; your journey with clay is being led by local artists and Instructor Toby Sue Carrel.
Toby brings with her a wealth of knowledge from over 30 years of teaching adults and children and over 40 years of making pottery.
Her natural wit and easy to understand instructions , allows you to create in a warm and nurturing environment. Toby helps you learn the techniques to make the Art that you Want to Make.
The Date Night Experience is a private lesson for 2 people for 2hrs. Each person will make either a hand building project or a wheel throwing piece. Your creations will be fired, clear glazed and ready for pick up in 3 weeks.
Our Classes
Tweens and Teens
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday Afternoons!
Class passes are $350 for a 6 pack of 3 hour sessions. The passes are valid for July and August.
Adult Classes
Mondays: 4 - 7pm
Tuesdays: 11am-1pm - Clay
Wednesdays: 6-9pm - Clay (2 or 3hr sessions available)
Thursdays: 6-9pm - Clay
6pack of lessons Available
2hr sessions - $420 (incl tax)
3hr sessions - $525 (incl. tax)
Pottery Club - Come spend some time with us and learn to pinch, coil and throw clay to create your own masterpieces!
Ceramic Arts: Develop your creativity with clay. Hand building and wheel throwing will be taught. Build your own portfolio with ceramic arts.
